Join us for this year’s wine dinner “Sicily – 2500 years of wine” on Friday evening, September 16 at 6:30pm with an extraordinary four-course wine dinner at the Base Village Conference Center, prepared by chef Will Nolan of the Viceroy. Help us discover these distinct wine growing regions spread throughout Sicily. Folks start arriving Friday evening at 6:30pm.

Sicily is Italy’s southernmost region and the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. Sicily is blessed with consistently bright sunshine and moderate amounts of rainfall. It’s classic Mediterranean climate is ideally suited for wine grapes.

Price is discounted at $135 per person. This amazing dinner sells out every year, so we recommend getting tickets early. Have a group you want to dine with, buy a table of eight or ten. The menu will be coming soon!

Saturday’s Grand Tasting will once again allow attendees to taste a vast variety of top wines, and cuisine from some of the Valley’s best-known restaurants, while taking in great music and scenery of our beautiful Snowmass area. The fun-filled event is located at Town Park (soccer field) next to Snowmass Recreation Center, Snowmass Village. Take part in the silent auction offering wonderful items from local shops and restaurants, acclaimed wines and fine artwork, and new to the festival this year, check out the Classic Car Auction.

Funds raised are allocated to non-profit organizations across the Roaring Fork Valley, charitable organizations worldwide, and for Basalt High School Senior scholarships.

Top off this awesome Snowmass weekend by attending the 41st Annual Snowmass Balloon Festival, one of the highest hot air balloon festivals in the U.S. and most colorful weekends of the year in Snowmass Village. For more info about the Balloon Festival in Snowmass Village, visit www.snowmassballoon.com. Must be 21 or older to taste wines.
